Hello! This is an open space for discussion of all things evolutionary psychology, the ridiculousness of current politics, and all etc.

I know it can be confusing what to sign up for and what the differences are, so I'll try to explain here.

My Patreon page for the moment remains the only way to access my weekly supporter livestream at the $15/month pledge level (www.patreon.com/drjen). Supporters here will have mirrored access to all other supporter only content at the $5/month pledge level, including early/exclusive Howk Blocked content each week and my supporters-only talks with Dr. Lisle about politics. (Our members-only talks every other week for the Living Wisdom Library members are different, and not as political. You can participate those and view them if you are a member of our joint website, which is a totally different thing. I know, it's confusing!)

And of course there is plenty of free content here as well if you are not in a position to pledge. If you already support me on Patreon there's no need to pledge here, and there's no need to pledge on Patreon if you support me here unless you want to be part of the Virtual Village. If you are interested in general conversations about EP and want to see random Facebook-like posts about stuff I find interesting, you can sign up for a free account here and get all of that.

Any member can start or respond to a thread here, but as I am not able to actively moderate or discuss, nor do I have much interest in wading into any contentious debates (though you are very welcome to have them!)

Finally, I am a first amendment absolutist and support anyone's right to say pretty much anything they want. That's why I'm moving over here from other social media platforms (I might move elsewhere in the future depending how this experiment goes.) The terms of service here are basically, say what you want as long as it's not actually illegal (ie, inciting direct violence, posing a direct physical threat to another person or group, etc.) Given that, I will generally take a very tolerant approach to discussion here but again—I'm an agreeable human and likely won't myself participate in (or otherwise babysit) disagreeable conversations. I am happy to provide the space for such things but don't particularly enjoy taking part in them by nature/personality. So proceed accordingly. I ask only that we keep it evidence-based. :)
